Secrets To Effective Capture Page

When I think about it, there is a certain way of doing probably everything in life. When you build a house, you follow a blueprint. When you bake a cake, you are following a recipe. And when it comes to Capture Pages we have to follow the Secrets To Effective Capture Page if you want this Capture Page to work for you 100%.

If you are reading this and you, have no idea what is a Capture Page. It is a one-page website with an offer (hook) and a form for people to put their email address, name or phone number in exchange for the offer.

By filling out the form with their email address, they are giving you permission to contact them via email or phone or whatever did you ask for on that page.
This page goes by different name Capture Page, Landing Page, Squeeze Page the same page the same idea.

Your Capture page in most cases is the first point of contact with your visitor. Your goal is to grab the attention of your visitor, to invoke curiosity in their head and also to position you as an authority so they’ll start paying attention to you.

The different businesses have a different way of reaching their clients.
That Capture Page is like the front door to your online business, and that’s why we have to make sure to follow the right structure.

Every page is different; some will convert better and some will not convert at all.

To build an Effective Capture Page you have to start with a clear understanding of the anatomy of that type of pages.

The first thing that you’ll see on the page is the Headline.
And the Headline should be:

  • Clear
  • Relevant
  • Compelling
  • Concise
  • Unambiguous

A good way to test your page is to apply the one-second rule:

  • Close your eyes, open them up and look at your page for one second and close them again.
  • Did you capture the essence of that page? Do you have a clear understanding what this page is giving you? You should understand what exactly it’s saying to you in that one second.

When creating your Headline think about the call to action, and incorporate it, be creative.

The second thing that is on your Capture age is the Sub-Headline.

And that is the second thing that your visitor will see after the Headline. It must address a specific point that is relevant to the content on the page. Have to compliment the Headline, and it should make your visitor take a second look.

When building your page, it’s crucial to use correct grammar and double check for spelling.
You are building a credibility and trust.

The next thing is the button & Call To Action.
The button must stand out. The best colors that help to catch attention is orange & yellow. Everyone is using these two color, big companies like eBay, Amazon, and people are used to it, they know that this is the action button.

Create a strong Call To Action – CTA
Your job is to tell the visitor what to do next. Make a point and be clear.
Do it Now! Click here!
Use engaging words like New, Free, Buy, Watch Now, etc…

Include your keywords in your CTA.
Make sure that your CTA and all the essential content are above the fold, so your visitors don’t have to scroll down to look for it. We have to make it very easy and clear to them.
Use only one link, if you have more links on your page, you will confuse and distract your visitor.

Understand the principles of good design.

  • Use Image or video that is relevant to the message.

In the English language, we read from left to right and from top to bottom. That means the movement of the eye is from left to right and from top to bottom. And that is the way that you want to create the movement on your Capture Page. You page’s content need to have a natural flow. Your images, the CTA, the content, the shapes, and colors will determine that movement.

  • Keep it clear and easy to read.
  • Use urgency & scarcity
  • When picking the colors, use not more than three that compliment each other. Too mane colors will overwhelm your visitors.

The one thing you want to do before you start sending traffic is to run a test make sure everything works correctly, and all the connections are responding.
