If you were to receive 12 Days of Christmas gifts, to help you with blogging and promotion, what would they be?
I’ve compiled this list from the, always tempting, PAC resources.
I love Christmas, with its spirit of goodwill and all the glittery things. Even so, I breathe a sigh of relief when Christmas Day arrives and all the shopping, wrapping, decorating, cleaning and baking is over. Can you relate to that? I thoroughly decorate the tree, house and garden. I suspect the family think I do it for my youngest son, but they’re only partly right. I enjoy the chance to bring out my silly side.
I didn’t add up the price of the 12 days of gifts below but Huffington Post, in ” The ’12 Days Of Christmas’ Costs How Much Now?!? “, tells us the price of the original song items this year: $155,407.18!
The 12 Days of Christmas – Blogger Style
Here we go. Hang onto your holly, jingle those bells, and grab a cup of Christmas cheer, as you read 12 things to get bloggers excited this Christmas.
- One year subscription to Get Response
- Two Premium Genesis Child Themes
- Three site Optimize Press Theme package
- Four WordPress Plugins – CommentLuv Premium, Lead Rocket, Instabuilder, and one you recommend?)
- Five Facebook Ads
- Six Traffic Monsoon Login Ads
- Seven Lords a Leaping – just because I’d like to see that.
- Eight weeks of PAC 5% Club hangouts
- Nine Coaching Programs
- Ten Months of Siteground Business Cloud Hosting
- Eleven Marketing Books from e-books.com
- Twelve $5 PAC Gigs
I know these don’t fit in with the music but that was just to hard to do. Apart from the 5% club and gigs, (and the 7 leaping lords of course) you can find the items listed above on the PAC Shopping page.
If like me you’ve already bought some of these 12, please join in and add your own blogging Christmas wishes – realistic or not. I know I could add many more, including a whole host of Photoshop add ins, and personal mentoring by Problogger, Darren Rowse, and Social Media expert Adrienne Smith.
Do you trim a tree and the house? What are your favorite decorations? Mine are a very old plastic tree bauble that graced our family tree when I was young, and those made by my children.
I leave you with this quote by Agnes M. Pharo:
“What is Christmas?
It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future.
It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal,
and that every path may lead to peace.”
I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy, productive, and successful year ahead.

Thank You For Shopping PAC
Great post Sue, Merry Christmass to you. Great gift ideas. I never thought of some of the suggestion, but they are something to consider. I am not getting that Christmas vibe yet. This year it will be last minute for me.

I hope the Christmas vibe is starting to kick in now. Some years I’ve left it to the last minute too. There’s something to be said for buying all at once. If I do mine too early I’m always tempted to buy more for the kids.
One year we were away on holiday before Christmas and went to a shopping center which was open all night. We left at about 5am, all our shopping done at once while it was quiet.
To quote Edna Ferber “Christmas is not a season. It’s a feeling.” Whatever our circumstances it’s a good time to rid our minds from worry and take on a positive view. Practice this through the holiday season and that attitude will hopefully continue all year through.

Hi Sue and Merry Christmas
What an interesting list for the Pro-Blogger… I love all the gift ideas from PAC
I’ll have to see if my stocking fills up so I can buy me some LOL!
To the Top
Mary
Merry Christmas to you too, Mary. Perhaps we should have PAC gift cards to be spent in the shop 🙂 Then we could put them on our Christmas wish list 🙂

We could end up with 40 Facebook ads if, like the real song, we get 5 every day up to day 12. Now THAT is what I call productive thinking Sue. 😀

How true. I’d forgotten it was cumulative. I might have rearranged the list if I’d thought of that.
12 years of GetResponse subscription too – or six years of autoresponder + 6 years of their landing page add on 🙂

Hi Sue,
Heart warming & fun post. Enjoyed your whimsical take on the 12 days of Christmas classic. Thanks for Agnes M. Pharo’s quote, new to me.
Edward
Thank you Edward. Whimsy is a great description of the feelings I was trying to convey.
Hi Sue,
What a brilliant idea for a post. (Five Facebook Ads fits the music perfectly!)
A few days ago I bought myself a blogging gift I’ve been promising myself for several months….. One Thrive Theme.
Now all I need is the time to implement it – but looking round my own pre-Christmas bombshell of a house I can’t imagine when that will be.
Have a wonderful holiday – I guess it will all get done in the end, and if it doesn’t, well, who will remember six months from now?

I had 7 Facebook Ads then decided to swap it to make it fit the tune 🙂 I consider themes a business expense so that I buy them to try them or buy developer licenses. It’s a good excuse to indulge in a personal interest 🙂
My house is still a bombshell, although now minus the outdoor decorations. They are all up but as they didn’t look too good with weeds, I’ve been spending time gardening. The bedroom walls I wanted to paint before Christmas will now have to settle for a wash down.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season too, Joy.

Hi Chery, the Christmas spirit left me fleetingly tonight. I looked at untidy house with the pile of presents to wrap and all the indoor and outdoor decorations to put up. All ready to tackle it I realized that I needed a present for one of my son’s teachers and his last lesson with her is tomorrow. After a very late night shopping trip I was ready to cancel Christmas, Good job I bounce back quickly 🙂

Hi Sue,
I LOVE this post. You were very creative with the 12 days of Christmas. LOL. I don’t think I have read the quote by Agnes M. Pharo before. I’m starting to get in the Christmas mood.
Wishing you a wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The quote was new to me too Monna. It really holds meaning for me. I didn’t start the post with the PAC affiliate products in mind, Half way through I realized all but one was there on the Shopping page so I continued with the theme 🙂
