Here’s a great program by Robin Smith that will sort it all out for you!

Facebook’s Instagram. It’s been years since Facebook acquired Instagram in April 2012 for approximately US$1 billion in cash and stock.

The Instagram app is still growing every day. If you thought that joining Instagram  seemed just to complicated,  I have some great news! I have been trying to get going on Instagram for some time now.

I use  my phone, an Android smart phone.  I haven’t been able to find a really good course  that  would teach me all about  the many steps needed on Instagram. That is,  until I found a great 6-day Free Bootcamp series created by my friend Robin Smith. What is Instagram?

“Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and a social networking service which enables its users to take pictures and videos and share them publicly or privately on the app, but as well a through other social  networking platforms, such as: Facebook,  Twitter,Tumblr, Flickr, etc.

Users can post photos captured in any aspect ratio. and can  also apply digital filters to their images. The maximum duration for Instagram videos is 15 seconds

Some background on  Instagram

Created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, Instagram launched  in Oct of 2010 as a free mobile app. Service gained popularity with over 100 million active users by April 2012. Over 300 million as of Dec 2014. Instagram is distributed through the Apple App store and Google Play. Support for the app is available for iPhone, iPad, iPad Touch, and  Android handsets, while third-party apps are available.

Interesting Demographics

While Instagram’s users are divided equally with 50% iPhone and 50% Android owners, 68% of Instagram users are female, while 32% are male. Instagram has proven to attract the younger generation with 90% of the 150 million users under the age of 35.

With respect to education demographics, respondents with some college education proved to be the most active on Instagram with 23% College graduates consist of 18% while those with a high school diploma or less make up 15%. Make it eye pleasing, she uses emojis, little boxes, keywords, customize it, CTA,
Instagram has only one clickable link so link to  your FB group or your blog.
Use copy and paste for iPhone to get the  placement right. Android is easier.

Day 3
Content that will attract your  target market to you.
People will like and share your content.
Make your posting 80% value 10% fun – 10% promotional
Inspirational posts, 2 a day are a good idea.
Motivational content 5 tips for what to share on a  daily basis

Creating the Content is awesome to use for creating your motivational quotes.
Many different templates  are ready made. Social media sizes.
You can upload images and save it on your computer or save it to Drop Box.

Has hashtag lists and emojis.

You can like tag the person.
Contact 10 new people a day

HootSuite also can  transfer from your phone and schedule posts.

Studio Design –  is an app that is available in the Apple App store and Google Play
It has  both text overlays, borders, and frames that  she shows  how to work with it in a video.

Robin mentioned that you need to be careful or you can spend way to much time on Instagram.
Use a timer for only 5 mins per picture. When the timer goes off, you are done.

She also has 2  Surprise Bonus apps

Day 4
Follow your friends that you have on Facebook
Tell others on different platforms that you are on Instagram now, use email signatures, etc
Hashtag # Search – “Attraction markers”
Click on the name -follow like their images, they may follow back and make a comment.

Eye on  your competitors –  example Ray Higdon – follow
Only do about 50 of these at a time.
Follow Ray’s followers

Day 5
Focused on Instagram
1. smart phone
2. a  timer
5 mins  Search  by #hashtag – example ” network marketing”

Schedule for Instagram

5 mins –  3 likes and 1 comment
3 likes – and one comment

They will check out your account and they will leave comments and likes

Day 6
Follow up with leads

Most courses don’t tell you what to do with people  after they click on your links.
Send them to a group. The are low commitment  and the are much  faster than  an opt-in. Very engaging with instant feed back so you know your people’s struggles.  People are on Facebook and this allows you to build a relationship with people you find on Instagram.

What Robin does is she directs the people she meets on Instagram to go to her facebook group. It’s easy and it’s fast. They see the value she has been giving  them on Instagram.  They want what she has, that is training on using Instagram.

She welcomes them to the group and sends them a pm. She can also tag @ them on Facebook giving them notifications from her. They see her on Facebook all day as well as on Instagram.  She asks them questions.They get to know her and she builds know like and trust. KLT .

Instagram is wonderful, but if you want to build a relationship  you want to direct your Leads to go somewhere that you can contact them . She says it’s really surprising  how fast it grows. She doesn’t talk about money, but with 148 comments on one post, and 34 people joining her affiliate products, saying they want to work with her. Robin’s videos are fun and packed with  lots of information. She shows you just how to do things the right way in her 6 day Bootcamp. You also get her Facebook Instagram group and other perks from her website/blog  and on Pinterest.
